Terms of Service

1. Who we are

StockAlert is operated by Huynh Nhat Thien, an independent software developer based in Vietnam ("we", "us"). Contact: thien.auris@gmail.com.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record for all orders. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's own terms and privacy policy.

2. What the service does

StockAlert reads product and inventory data from the Shopify stores you connect, compares quantities between them, and emails you when they differ. It is a monitoring tool only. It does not create, edit, delete or synchronise any data in your stores.

3. What it does not promise

StockAlert is provided "as is". We aim to check your stores roughly every 15 minutes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, a specific detection time, or that every discrepancy will be detected. The service depends on third-party APIs and infrastructure we do not control.

You remain responsible for your own inventory, orders and fulfilment. StockAlert is an early-warning aid, not a replacement for your own checks.

4. Your account and access

You are responsible for the access tokens you grant and for keeping your account details secure. You may revoke our access from your Shopify admin at any time, which stops the service immediately.

You agree not to resell the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to access stores you are not authorised to access.

5. Fees

The founding plan is USD 9 per month, billed monthly in advance. Taxes may be added depending on your location and are handled by Paddle. Prices for existing founding customers will not increase while the subscription remains active.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the service continues until then. See our Refund Policy.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to active subscribers at least 14 days in advance. We may suspend or end the service, in which case we will refund any unused portion of a billing period.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
